“Why did you paint your equipment green? That’s stupid. What a waste of money.”
It would be stupid if you think like a sheep.
Cause sheep don’t do anything of significance. They are stupid and they blindly follow (but they taste good).
I am a Punk. I am a non conformist. I make my own opinions and question everything. I don’t follow along simply because everyone is following along.
It gets me in trouble sometimes.
Just because it’s popular doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a bad thing, but my first reaction will always be to go against what everyone likes.
Which is ironic because deep down, I want people to like me.
Punk is anti establishment. It’s rebellion. It’s freedom of individuality and creative expression. Being comfortable as an outcast in the main stream world.
It’s more than music, it’s a mindset. A lifestyle. It doesn’t care what anyone thinks of it. It wants to stick out. That’s why I’m drawn to it.
I’ve definitely toned it down a bunch since my 20’s and 30’s but it still
affects my thought process and I don’t mind it at all.
When you truly don’t give a crap about what anyone thinks, you live free.
You don’t care what comments people leave or what they say about you. You don’t care when people disagree with you or worry about the latest cool fad.
The funny thing about punks is that we always want to stand out and not fit in.
Probably why I have a fleet of green trucks and heavy equipment.
Probably why I picked a name like “Truth” instead of using my my own.
Probably why I started making heavy equipment videos like all the surf and skateboarding movies I watched growing up.
Probably why I think the way I think.
Probably.
